Unlocking Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe is at a critical juncture in terms of its political economy post-November 2017 economic and political developments. Following the dollarization and resultant ephemeral economic stability achieved during the Government of National Unity 2009-2013 Zimbabwe today faces; slow economic growth financial crisis increased poverty hyperinflation and political legitimacy crisis. The economy at the present time is unable to meet the needs of the ballooning urban population. The socio-economic and political legacy in Zimbabwe has created significant structural barriers especially to the educated unemployed youths participation and influence. Unlocking Zimbabwe therefore offers solutions to address these problems and usher strategies that can be adopted to allow democracy and sustainable development to prevail.
