This collection is not neat not polished and certainly not censored. Unredacted is exactly what it sounds like: the raw unfiltered record of trying to grow up in a world that often feels like it's coming apart at the seams.These poems span two decades - from 2005 to the present - written in a little girl's diary and the margins of term papers dictated into a cracked phone screen at 2 a.m. scribbled on napkins and the backs of receipts. These poems are love notes rage rooms on paper unsent letters confessionals and apologies.Within these pages you'll find moments of tenderness and grief identity lost and found again and the relentless questioning of what it means to be enough - as a person as a citizen as someone trying to love and be loved while the world tilts. Unredacted is for anyone who has ever been told to tone it down smooth it over or wait their turn. It's for the ones who feel too much say too much and still aren't heard. There are no easy resolutions here. Only honesty. And maybe in that honesty the beginning of healing.
