<p><span style=color: rgba(23 43 77 1)>Severe pneumonia is a significant problem in ICUs and general medicine. Considering the recent pandemic and increasing interest in new diagnostic techniques the management of severe pneumonia is transforming with new antibiotics and non-antibiotic therapeutic strategies emerging. This Special Issue has been provided up-to-date information in this field for intensive care physicians and other clinicians involved in the care of patients with pneumonia.</span></p>
