A precept in Church governance that is a solution to the normal practice of the one-Pastor structure with the focal point of ministry surrounding this one man. The Pastor is viewed as the professional (clergy) who has some type of special calling of God and thereby possesses a holy and unique status as compared to the congregation (laity). As a result many of the one pastor local churches become a spectator church. In this setting the laity sits listens sings and prays while the Pastor or paid staff do everything else in the local Body. It is time to Turn the Church Upside Down and set it right-side up as it was intended.
