Urban policies and regional planning

Urban planning is often defined as a discipline concerned with the spatial organization and management of cities. In fact it is considered to be the set of measures designed to improve organize and manage geographical socio-economic aesthetic institutional and cultural factors. In this book we highlight the cohesion that exists between public policy and spatial planning which are all disciplines that interact with each other.
