About the Book: This poetic collection brings together a tapestry of emotions and life experiences where the heart and a boundless expanse of feelings harmonize with the mind and senses all while striving to remain grounded. Through these Ashaar and Ghazals I have expressed the bittersweet treasured and challenging moments of my life believing that your love and encouragement are my most cherished gifts. Faith in life integrity in conduct and deep reflection are the priceless values woven into these Ashaar and Ghazals. I am both humbled and grateful to share them with my readers and listeners through this collection. The language of Usi Lamhe Ki Khatir draws from its cultural heritage and is shaped by creative experiences with great care taken to preserve the essence of Ganga-Jamuni culture. About the Author: After retiring from the Reserve Bank of India I sought the tranquility and natural beauty of Dehradun rather than my ancestral village in Mainpuri Uttar Pradesh—a choice inspired by my love for nature and the calm it brings. Since boyhood I felt a deep calling to stand against social inequities and age-old superstitions that linger in rural life driven by a desire to bring about change in even the smallest ways. Supporting the less fortunate especially in their education has been a purpose close to my heart and I feel blessed to have had the strength to raise my voice against injustices when needed. I find a sense of fulfillment in each challenge embraced along this path of kindness. Accepting the transformations of our times I’ve expressed my thoughts on what feels right or wrong in Usi Lamhe Ki Khatir drawing on a lifetime of experience insight and reflection.
