Using microorganisms or their products for control plant Nematodes

During the past fifteen years there has been increasing concern over the adverse effects that certain chemical nematicides might have on the environment and human health. As with insecticides and insect pests therefore there is now much greater emphasis on seeking natural enemies and biological methods of control of plant parasitic nematodes.Biological control is an important component of all nematode management programs and with a particular focus on integrated soil biology management. This book describes tools available to farmers to enhance the activity of natural enemies and utilize soil biological processes to reduce losses from nematodes.
