Uterine cervical cancer

The advancement in cancer screening and treatment methods allows women with UCC to have better prognoses now than even before. Nevertheless the cancer itself its management and treatment related complications significantly affect the woman´s quality of life and additionally lack evidence about side effects and sequelae of therapies for early invasive stages of this disease. Therefore the scientific community is determined not only to improve the recurrence and survival rates of patients with UCC but to improve the quality of care that physicians give their patients with UCC. With this scientific contribution we would like to add to the knowledge about the medical care of patients with uterine cervical cancer especially within the international medical community involved in the decision-making process related to therapy and subsequent self-care of these women.
