Uyirttalam

Uyirthalam is a collection of short stories written by Abitheen who started his journey of storytelling in 1980’s. These short stories describe beliefs orthodox customs self-oriented feelings of the most common men of Islam. His stories put forward to visualize the typical changes that had come in to life of Muslims in Tamil Nadu especially after the business or job opportunities developed in Middle East countries during 1975. Poet Nagulan had a Susila. Similarly Abitheen writes about a girl called Asma! In all his stories Asma spreads happiness. His stories are written with slight sense of humor ridicule and mocking.
