Valentine and the Prince

<p>Valentine once a 17th-century city guard now finds himself in space with the rest of the Night Watch. The Night Watch consists of the dregs of the city guards it is the last refuge of scoundrels cheats liars and thugs.</p><p> Valentine fits right in.</p><p> Their journey has taken them from swords and muskets to blasters and nanobots.</p><p> From medieval city slums to spaceships strange planets and aliens.</p><p> So many aliens.</p><p> When they receive a job offer from the Imperial Family they decide to travel to the centre of the Empire to investigate the possibilities.</p><p> But to get there they must travel on a military frigate crewed by suspicious marines and deal with a smooth talking prince.</p><p> Can the prince be trusted?</p><p> Or will Valentine need to employ the Night Watch's unique negotiation techniques?</p><p> Valentine's a thug.
