Vegetation and its endangerment

The forest „Obrenovački Zabran“ is located at the area of Obrenovac municipality within the area of Belgrade city in Republic of Serbia. From the centre of Obrenovac it is by air remote about 1.5 km. This area is primarily intended for sport and recreation not only for Obrenovac citizens but also for all other visitors.The main goal of the research is related to making of vegetation state and its endangerment in the area of „Obrenovački Zabran“ in order to preserve plant associations particularly relict rare and vulnerable species. In order to protect domestic vegetation and prevent expanding of alien plant species at the area of „Obrenovački Zabran“ one of the most significant tasks is to determine all species inside phytocenological records. This is essential step for database making and enable conservation and further sustainable management of this protected area. After performed analysis of research results it was deduced there is a need for further monitoring and research in order to permanent follow vegetation caused by climate changes and attacking of ash pipe.
