<p>Venkat is eight years old. He lives in Hyderabad with his parents little sister Pragya and his grandfather. Venkat loves his family and enjoys being a big brother. Hes quite good at it too! Venkat tries his best to be good. But once in a while just like all of us he gets into trouble.</p><p>Venkat learns some important lessons in these stories. He learns to own up when he breaks a rule in 'Venkats Cartwheel'. In 'Venkat and the Kittens' he learns about caring for animals responsibly. 'Venkat the Magician' is about a small choice having unexpected and funny consequences. When Venkat has a 'Terrible Thursday' he learns that many problems can be solved by talking to his family. And finally Venkat learns about life outside a city when he visits his grandparents farm in 'Venkat at the Farm'.</p>
