(Vice) Viscera

<p>The poems in <em>(Vice) Viscera</em> blur the boundary between the corporeal and the cerebral. My language is</p><p>my body Willow Loveday Little writes and each poem plays viscus in the performance. Yet although</p><p>these poems are of the viscera they never fully abandon themselves to the visceral. A sly and intricately</p><p>wired nervous system her poetry abounds in wordplay multivalent meanings reversals and linguistic</p><p>cunning. It is poetry that is organic and fleshy and yet dissected for the reader by a voice that probes the</p><p>inner workings of the mind with surgical precision.</p>
