Victory in Recovery

<div class=Section1><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify'><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Thisbook is a testimony and self disclosure of my life growing up in a poordysfunctional alcoholic household.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'> </span>By1997 I was convinced that I was a victim of the disease of addiction and cameto recognize where my addiction had taken me.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'> </span>I was then facing 3-6 years of incarceration because of my addiction andpossession of a controlled substance.</span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify'><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Treatmenthas worked for me because I was afforded the opportunity to look at self andhow low my self esteem was.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'> </span>In additionmy addiction left me with the major feelings of fear: Fear of failure fair orsuccess and ultimately fear of failure to succeed.<spanstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'> </span>But I confronted fear it the face and showedtear that I will be the dynamic person God has destined me to be. It is thehoped that those struggling with the disease of addiction may learn and findsomething in this chronicle of events to help them taste the flavor ofrecovery.</span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify'><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Believeme the battle is ongoing and Spirituality plays an integral part in therecovery from this fatal disease. I thank my God of my understanding for hiswonderful work in my life.</span></p></div>
