This is the last installment in a trilogy about my hometown’s involvement in our country’s mid-twentieth-century wars. I researched the pages of the Nashua Telegraph from 1060 through 1973 looking for names leads and stories about local men and women who participated in America’s most contentious war. The paper published news and features from Derry/Salem east of Nashua west to Jaffrey/Rindge and north to New Boston. The Nashua Telegraph also covered Tyngsboro Pepperell and Dunstable Massachusetts. Sadly times for newspapers have changed and the Telegraph has a much-reduced coverage area.
