In the final years of the Vietnam War as the United States cuts troop strength American military advisors and their allies face Viet Cong spies and guerilla fighters building up forces for the massive Easter Offensive. Even while engaged in combat in the difficult terrain of the Mekong Delta the adversaries struggle with doubts fears loss and despair as grim events unfold to an unexpected conclusion.The author was a military advisor where the story takes place.
