Violence Against Women

Like her counterpart women of today are a product of centuries of struggle: struggles against chauvinistic attitude which across times has separated men and women as God''s people. The fire of persistent denials has been fanned by systematic gender orientation that is both embedded in statutory and customary laws religious and administrative regulations and practices that hardly involve women in its processes. This is a situation that pictures the woman as of little values a weakling that can be used and abused with impunity.
