Visions of Salento

These photographs are the result of an exploration made with my family of the Salento area. The images were taken in August 2020 and again in the same month in 2021. The locations photographed are different among the most fascinating in the whole of Salento. The images in no particular order depict places such as Santa Maria di Leuca Presicce Otranto Gallipoli Galatina Galatone Nardò Corigliano d'Otranto Melpignano and various other places in the Salento peninsula. On the way back to the north near the border with the Itria Valley I photographed some municipalities that still have something in common with Salento but already constitute a different territory. Ostuni Oria and Messapian Ceglie. I hope this volume can be an inspiration for those who decide to spend a holiday in this incredible part of Italy.
