Visions of the Beyond

Visions of the Beyond is a collection of digital illustrations originally created by Stefanie Masciandaro for Startling Sci-Fi: New Tales of the Beyond an anthology of short fiction published by New Lit Salon Press. The complete series is reproduced here in full color for the first time. You also get a peek behind-the-scenes of Masciandaros process as a digital artist through her initial sketches and concept pieces. Also included are alternate versions of the final works. These remixes of sorts extend the illustrations beyond their original context and probe at the very nature of digital art.
