Jeff Lynam was diagnosed with Motor Neurone disease in July 2010. Throughout his life he regularly used poetry to express his thoughts and feelings. Although shocked at the implications of the diagnosis he decided to publish a blog mostly poetry which would trace his reflections mood and emotional state of mind as the disease progressed. After he died on April 30 2013 his wife Norah collected the poems and published them in this volume.
