Voices of Successful Recovery

The Big Book (4th ed.) contains 41 personal stories in the latter half (pages 171 to 559). These stories are honest revealing memoirs of individuals who have battled and recovered from alcoholism and addiction since the founding of A.A. in 1935. The narratives span from 1935 to the present day reflecting a diverse array of backgrounds and lifestyles. This book offers annotations (themes central ideas key incidents summaries) of the personal stories in the Big Book that collectively represent the recovery paths of these 14 million suffering alcoholics.
