Volatile organic compounds in surface waters

It is difficult to imagine our modern daily life style without using and profit of products stocked by different industries pharmaceuticals petrochemicals agrochemicals etc.). Unfortunately together with the rise of chemical manufacture and use has come increasing public awareness and concern regarding presence of this chemicals in surrounding environment due to possible negative consequences of them linked to human health and biota. In this work attention was given to volatile organic compounds analysis methodologies from surface water in order to could evaluate their safety status.
