Volleyball: an interdisciplinary tool for teaching exact sciences

Given the notorious need for studies in the field of teaching and learning this article presents some considerations about interdisciplinarity. The article presents already published research highlights new approaches to the contents of mathematics through the contents of physical education as a teaching methodology aimed at a better integral development of the student and brings suggestions for themes involving other disciplines also considered villains in the teaching-learning process: physics chemistry and biology. Through such themes interdisciplinarity can be applied and promote the growth of the set of skills and competencies of the associated disciplines and directly influencing the individual's education.
