We meet those nameless individuals who haunt the wee hours with their tales of hilarity and naughtiness interspersed with a scattering of heartwarming wildflowers. </p><p></p><p>Next the reader is thrust into the challenging life of a caregiver. The wildflowers in these weeds show up unexpectedly. Who knew that balloons could be so therapeutic? What is the deal with mustaches and hair? Or that the Willie Nelson song <em>And I woke up still not dead again today</em> could give such delight? And then there are the tales from visits to the VA with unique and sometimes bizarre characters. A deep dive into how to find and give a loved one joy at the end of life's voyage.</p>
