Waiting

<p><em>Waiting</em> follows the Wright family as they face the outbreak of World War Two. The family are torn apart when their children are evacuated to Wales</p><p>and sweethearts separated with the bombing reaching a crescendo in what came to be known as The Liverpool Blitz.</p><p></p><p>Loosely based on Gail's family history the core of the drama centres around Jessie and Peter Wright their three children and the extended Wright family.</p><p>We see the war through the eyes of those left on the home front in Bootle Liverpool where everyone is desperately waiting for news of loved ones whilst</p><p>facing the ongoing troubles that war brings.</p>
