Waiting in the Wings

Benjamin was her first love but she walked away fell in love with Henry and married him. 20 years of mental abuse of fighting for financial independency and protecting her heart and soul followed. Until the day she has to take Henry into the emergency room with a hernia his stubbornness and carelessness with his body costing him his life. After the shock wears off Sara calls family and her children with the news then she calls the only person she had openly talked to and shared her heart with over the years Benjamin. That's when she realizes what terrible damage she has done how she had given Benjamin hope that she could still love him want to be with him and get back together if there would ever be a way. Scared by the idea alone she cuts all ties to the only friend she has left in the world.
