<p>It started with the end something like the drop of a curtain.</p><p>A white veil in a haunting in-between calling my name.</p><p>The last word hanging on the edge of a sentence.</p><p>And then nothing.</p><p>I remembered nothing.</p><p>I didn't have time to remember anything when the danger made itself known-the village wanting me dead.</p><p>There was only time for survival then.</p><p>Pain. Suffering.</p><p>I should be killed.
