Walk A Day In My Shoes : A Reference Book For Teachers and Parents

Intelligence has been understood for centuries as a measure to describe an individual’s mental powers. Intelligence is measured commonly by conducting IQ Test and by accepting the performance of an individual in the written and practical tests and exams. In this book by analysing the diary entries of children I am discussing different ways of looking at intelligence. Career development is a process and it involves much more than just knowing the IQ of a child. Children need to discover who they are and what interests them what are their dominant intelligence how can theydevelop imagination and confidence and a belief in their abilities. This book is an attempt to make teachers and parents help children achieve just that. Part 1 of the book is a collection of diary entries made by children followed by the analysis of a child’s mind ways to strengthen one or more areas of interest and suggestions regarding possible careers options. Part 2 of the book  has a collection of poems that again celebrates and gives importance to the fact that children with their presence keep making parents and teachers  aware of so many deep details of human behaviour and human existence.
