Walk Like a Man

<p>I'm proud to be a man and I embrace my masculinity-striving to show up as a king a warrior a lover and a magician in the best sense of each while staying conscious of the shadows they sometimes cast. My comfort level with my masculinity didn't come out of nowhere; it's shaped by my innate temperament my upbringing the culture I live in and the formative experiences that made me who I am. Trying to deny our biological differences doesn't work; what does work is respecting those differences and seeing how they can enrich a society that values both fairness and cooperation. We can be equal in terms of rights while still expressing our gender roles in ways that feel authentic to each of us.</p>
