Walking Rocket Missing Matt...and other random thoughts

The book brings together musings on a wide assortment of topics that attracted the author's interest over a number of years. Many of them arose during walks with her beloved beagle Rocket. Others evolved as her way of coping with the untimely loss of her beloved brother Matt. The rest are random reflections hence the title. Frequent walks with Rocket allowed her to soak in the calm but eclectic and ever-changing environment their strides giving way to observations about the world around them. Connections would form between the natural spaces they inhabited and her emotional responses to them. Bits and pieces of this collection appeared previously as social media postings. Friends appreciated the quirky observations of current events that would often arise from Rocket's sojourns in his rural neighborhood with his faithful companion. Some even came to anticipate what might arise from walks following certain particularly noteworthy occasions and eagerly awaited the next Walking Rocket installment.
