<p>Wally Wallace Goes To The Vet is the second of the Wally </p><p>series. It is a preschool/elementary age book. In this story </p><p>Wally is sick and is afraid of going to the doctor. </p><p><br></p><p>This story teaches that the doctor is not something to be </p><p>feared and that the doctor is here to help and make us feel </p><p>better. The concept of what a Veterinarian does and that </p><p>they help animals just like human doctors.</p><p><br></p><p> This story demonstrates feelings children my experience </p><p>when going to the doctor or staying in the hospital. I hope</p><p> Wally's experience can help them gain trust and learn that</p><p> we all feel afraid at times.</p>
