War Global Capitalism and Resistance

<p>For the last twenty years William I. Robinson has been developing a new theory of capitalism and the state; now his selected writings are collected in War Global Capitalism and Resistance. His theory of capitalism imperialism and the state - describing a transnational capitalist world a global police state and the resistance to them - derives from earlier Marxists theories but also transforms and develops them. He applies his theory to such issues as education and migration and the Israel-Palestine war and calls for the creation of a new international to confront global capitalism. His writings challenge us to rethink our understanding of capitalism and the class struggle.
