Water and Wastewater Treatment

Wastewater Treatment with a New Advanced Biological Reactor is the topic of our research. When opposed to other biological therapies Moving Bed technology offers several operational benefits. Various uses of this technology for small plants will be investigated with the primary Costs of investment and operations taken into consideration. MBBR will be used in some of the processes with some modifications. COD removal as well as COD and nutrient removal will be investigated under various primary treatments. There is a need for smaller biological reactor volumes and secondary settling surfaces. Finally the findings suggest the MBBR is used as a Biofilm carrier with polyethylene media has a lot of potential for removing OMs from water and wastewater. This research may help determine whether the moving bed Biofilm process is a good and effective way to remove all nutrients from urban wastewater.
