Water disinfection in water supply systems

Due to the increasing anthropogenic pollution of natural water sources (ground and surface waters) the role of disinfection is dramatically increasing which requires the use of the most effective disinfectants. The monograph presents information about the physical chemical and combined methods of water disinfection as well as the directions of intensifying the disinfection processes. The comparison of individual disinfection methods is presented and the possibilities of their effective use are specified.
