Water fronts in southern Buenos Aires metropolitan area

This book was born from the interest of two colleagues both geographers teachers and researchers who are interested in capturing the complexities that the metropolitan territory of Buenos Aires presents. In particular we were motivated by the disputes that occur in urban waterfronts the differential valuations that are manifested and the resulting territorialities. That is to say we tried to approach a writing that includes nature urban space environment territory social actors conflicts interests and opposing logics transformations problems and impacts. Of course this is a topic that will continue to be developed and deepened throughout our postgraduate training but we did not want to stop sharing the progress we have been making to inform raise awareness and provide material for research and education.
