Information gathered by the investigator has been systematically presented to maintain the logical sequence which led to the scheme of chapters. The First chapter in the present study is devoted towards presenting the Introduction Relevance of study Objectives Scope Research design chapter and methodology adopted. Chapter-II covers the profile of drinking water supply chain in different countries of the World then come down to our country India followed by state of Odisha & then to study area by choosing Bhubaneswar the capital city of Odisha state where population was approximately nine lakh and the city is tremendously growing
