Waterbirds of Cabaigu��n Sancti Sp��ritus Cuba

The aquatic birds of the Municipality of Cabaiguán Province of Sancti Spíritus Cuba have been forgotten by researchers which is the reason why this book deals with them. In spite of being a Mediterranean territory the construction of reservoirs has facilitated the colonization of these aquatories by aquatic birds. The book shows how 43 species have been detected which are shown when the assemblages are formed as different ornithocenoses. The aforementioned differences are due to the different dimensions of the three water bodies studied as well as to the environmental differences between these ecosystems.
