Watervliet Historic Images

This collection of images over the centuries brings to light some of the people events and institutions that made Watervliet New York an important and early manufacturing center in the Capital District. This first volume presents Watervliet's streetscapes: scenes from the many businesses manufacturers and mom and pop establishments that give the city this rich history. Many old timers will remember many of the stories each picture presents and provide to the younger reader a historical context to where they live and call home.
