Wave Propagation In Complex Plasma

About The Book

Wave Propagation in Complex Plasma_ examines the propagation of nonlinear waves—including solitons and shock waves—in dusty (complex) plasmas. The analysis reveals that these waves are highly sensitive to secondary electron emission nonthermal plasma distributions and both adiabatic and nonadiabatic dust charge variations. The book further explores how plasma instabilities generate growing modes that significantly alter the plasma’s overall behaviour. The book is intended for researchers and postgraduate students. Subrata Bhakta an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from Calcutta University in 2007 joined Gobardanga Hindu College as a part-time Lecturer in Mathematics and continued till 2010. During this period he obtained his M.Phil. degree in Applied Mathematics from Calcutta University. He joined as a Lecturer in Seth Anandram Jaipuria College in Mathematics in 2010 and continues there. He obtained his PhD degree in Applied Mathematics from Calcutta University in 2020. He has published several research papers on Plasma Physics in international journals of repute. He has taught many important topics in Mathematics like Dynamics Geometry Linear Algebra and Numerical Analysis.
