Ways of Knowing

<p><em>Ways of Knowing</em> is a book of <strong>contemporary American </strong>poetry by Chuck Merrill. This book is a <strong>poetic memoir</strong> written almost entirely in <strong>rhyme</strong>. The rhyme provides an ease of moving forward with the poet as he reflects on his life and the lives of those surrounding him. The book has four distinct sections: seeing working <strong>writing</strong> and <strong>aging</strong>. These sections ground the work for the audience and guide them rhythmically through the author's known life experience. The author marches forward with each poem using both sonic and Unique in voice and tenacious in rhyme <em>Ways of Knowing</em> is a continuance of the practice of <strong>poetry</strong> over a lifetime.</p>
