Wayward Magic

<p><strong><em>A wish at midnight is enough to alter a life.</em></strong></p><p></p><p>Eli Cinderfella wants to grow old taking care of the family business and his father their tavern the only home he's ever known. However when he makes a wish on the winter solstice it brings consequences he never considered. A young fairy godmother arrives bearing magic and a quick end to everything Eli's life has been up to this point. Eli wrestles with Gemma and breaks her wand turning a bad night into something far worse. He watches the broken pieces of her wand absorb into his palms in a way that no fairytale could have prepared him. With his wish tragically granted his father and home are gone. Magic takes over Eli's life sowing chaos into his story as he desperately tries to fix what his wish broke and inevitably covers everything in pink glitter. </p><p></p><p>In an effort to fix everything Eli sets out on a quest that only leads to new problems in the kingdom of Briargild. He meets a Necromancer in the woods with mismatched eyes that threaten to haunt him long after their magic duel. A Witch with a deadly proposition. A Prince who is kind and devious and just as resourceful but ignored because of his disability. Equipped with magic he doesn't understand a dragon that shouldn't exist and the help of his fairy godmother Eli Cinderfella forges an unforgettable trail through his kingdom.<em> If all goes well Eli may lose his heart as well as his shoes. </em></p>
