We Might Have...

‘We might have …’ is a collection of poems that chronicle the unprecedented times we are facing. The poems look at events while they unfold and the many stages the world faces as it confronts the unknown. We see the first appearance of the virus the bewilderment the lockdowns the fear the isolation the anger the kindness the chaos the suffering the economy the global response and the quest for survival that fuels our eternal hope. While the poems are a mirror to the destructive mores of man and the viral darkness they are also an attempt to put down what is what has been and what might be. Through these poems we ponder and reflect and ultimately comprehend the need to bring about a visionary change to understand that the path the world is treading on is narrow divisive and selfish. To move forward with any kind of chance we need to transform ourselves and usher in a kinder more thoughtful and harmonious world.
