With mixed emotions Jenny and Daniel follow Austin to an up-scale townhouse community near the university where Daniel is enrolled. In his first semester Daniel encounters a segment of academia hostile to American influences on established Canadian culture.</p><p><br></p><p>Trapped in the bitter cold and perpetual darkness of a far-north winter Jenny becomes ill.
