Wear and Mechanical characteristics of AA7075-Co/Ni/Gr alloy composite

Aluminum alloy composites are observed to have better mechanical characteristics owing to which it finds potential application in industrial components like gear sliding ways etc. In this work AA7075-Cobalt/Nickel/Graphite alloy composite has been fabricated via the stir casting method. The alloy specimens were analyzed for their physical mechanical and sliding wear evaluation. The results prove that reinforcement improves the physical mechanical and sliding wear performance of the AA7075 alloy.
