WELCOME TO MY LAND- is the story of a young couple Klara and Ian who have chosen to make their home in Eugene Oregon. They arrive in Eugene in 1982 at a time of deep economic recession. Klara is pregnant Ian is a freelancing musician and survival seems almost impossible. Until Klara encounters a nightly bike rider singing a mysterious song that invokes in her visions of the American Natives the original inhabitants of this land...REMEMBER SOPHIA- tells the story of an unusual guest in the home of Klara and Ian their small son Addy and their baby Emma. Originally offered as short term accommodation to Sophia a young woman from New York looking for work and living space in Eugene the visitor extends her stay under various excuses causing disruptions to the household and eventually a major drama by her insistence of being followed by a murderous couple...
