<p>Current Speaker of the House Lily VonHelm is the daughter of German immigrants that fled Berlin as Hitler rose to power. She went into nursing but her career trajectory shifted after her best friend Henry was drafted. Lily couldn't let her best friend go to Vietnam without her so she volunteered. Fed up with the lack of resources once they returned home Lily left nursing and moved into politics. Decades later she's the democratic nominee in the United States 2016 election. Her opponent Daniel Thomas is a brash businessman in his 40s with no political experience.</p><p><br></p><p>In the surprisingly tight race Daniel proves he'll stop at nothing to win.
