<p><strong><em>Fed up with being prey Red prepares to take the fight to the Infected but her plans derail when humanity falls victim to an even older foe-greed.</em></strong></p><p><br></p><p>Having found a planet willing to negotiate for the enchanted artifacts used to draw out the Infected Red provided the Earth a chance to protect itself from invasion. Frustrated at the prospect of a future defined by hiding and defense Red embarks on a mission to stop the Infected once and for all. But when greed and ambition square off against limited resources amidst a collapsing inter-world economy Red must forego her quest and keep humanity from destroying itself.</p><p><br></p><p>The human colonies plagued for eons with world-ending attacks by the Infected battle over the remnants left behind by the vanished elves. And amidst the chaos her sole comfort lies in an impossible love doomed by time.</p><p><br></p><p>Can Red unite humanity against its common foe or will the story of mankind end in self-destruction?</p>
