Ahmed Boulane exists in society in a way that sets him apart from the mass. You'd initially assume he was bitter disillusiioned and a bit belligerent but you quickly discover an engaging lovable and profoundly humane person. He still has the spirit of the young mischievous boy who ran through the labyrinth of the streets of Salé Morocco until he was out of breath looking for some version of a better life defying poverty and confronting obstacles.
