What Are We Doing Here? And Who Are We?

<p>We are not African American. We are the descendants of Israel. God sent Moses to bring our forefathers out of captivity and Moses went up into the mount to receive the table of stone. After Moses was there for forty days and forty nights the Lord said to Moses “Arise go down quickly. The people you brought out of Egypt have corrupted themselves and turned out of the way that I commanded them; they have made them a molten image [shaped in a mold].” The Lord spake to Moses saying “I have seen this people and it is a stiff-necked people [extremely obstinate; arrogant].”</p>
