WHAT HAVE WE DONE WITH OUR CONGO?

At the end of these first reflections I can predict as LUMUMBA did without fear of being contradicted that the future of the Congo is better. To achieve this we need to start realizing our aspirations now and get to work.It's time today in the DRC as elsewhere in Africa to break all the stereotypes associated with the Congolese and with Africans in general and to root out the worm that lies within us and which in addition to gnawing at us from within keeps us in underdevelopment.It's high time dear compatriots to learn to distinguish objectively and without complacency between our political and administrative leaders those who under the pretext of serving us pursue the satisfaction of their personal interests and those who with passion and abnegation give themselves to serving us.It's time my dear Congolese citizens to restore the image of our Congo the heart of the cradle of humanity to restore all its tarnished blazons and project its future. And as it's the little streams that make the big rivers my dear brothers and sisters one thing leading to another we will have DONE SOMETHING FOR OUR CONGO.
